The Topic: Where Is Demand Breaking Down? A Fintech Marketing Leaders’Conversation on Demand Performance Conversation on Demand Performance Conversation on Demand Performance

Fintech marketing teams have more data, technology, content, and buyer signals than ever. Yet generating predictable pipeline is getting harder, buying journeys are becoming more complex, and marketing leaders are under increasing pressure to prove what is actually driving performance.

This private dinner will bring together a small group of senior fintech marketing leaders to compare how their organisations are approaching demand generation heading into 2027.

The conversation will be organized around Energize Marketing’s Demand Performance Assessment, a short five-question assessment designed to help marketers identify where the greatest opportunity exists within their demand system across:

  • Buyer signals

  • Measurement

  • Sales alignment

  • The buyer journey

  • Qualification

Attendees will be invited to complete the assessment before the dinner or during the opening portion of the evening. The results will serve as a conversation starter, not a scorecard. We’ll use the group’s experiences to explore where fintech demand teams are performing well, where friction is emerging, and what leaders are changing as they plan for
2027.

The goal is for every participant to leave with a clearer sense of where they should focus next to improve demand performance, along with ideas and benchmarks from peers facing similar challenges.

Suggested Agenda

6:30–7:10 PM | Arrival, Drinks & Networking
Informal introductions and an opportunity for attendees who have not already done so to complete the Demand Performance Assessment.

7:00–7:10 PM | Welcome & Setting the Table
David Steifman and Michael Greenhut welcome the group, introduce the purpose of the evening, and share a brief look at the themes emerging from the assessment.

7:10–7:30 PM | Where Is Demand Performance Getting Stuck?
Open the discussion with a room-level look at the five areas of demand performance. Which areas are creating the greatest challenges for fintech marketers today? Where are teams investing more attention heading into 2027?

7:30–8:00 PM | Signals, Buyers & the Path to Pipeline
A peer conversation around questions such as:

  • Are teams getting better at identifying meaningful buyer signals, or simply collecting more of them?

  • Where does the buyer journey become hardest to influence or measure?

  • How are fintech marketers balancing longer buying cycles with pressure to generate pipeline now?

  • What separates engagement from genuine buying interest?

8:00–8:30 PM | Measurement, Qualification & Sales Alignment
Explore the operational side of demand performance:

  • Which measures are actually useful for determining whether demand programs are working?

  • Where does qualification help pipeline, and where can it create unnecessary friction?

  • How are marketing and sales defining quality and readiness?

  • What needs to change for teams to make better demand decisions in 2027?

8:30–8:50 PM | What Would You Change First?
Bring the discussion back to the assessment. Each attendee considers the area with the greatest opportunity inside their own demand system and one improvement their team could realistically make over the next 30–90 days.

8:50–9:00 PM | Closing & Continued Conversation
Thank the group, summarize several themes from the evening, and invite attendees to
continue the conversation following the dinner.

Attendees can receive their Demand Performance Assessment results and use them as a starting point for a more detailed conversation about their 2027 demand priorities.
