JULIE ASHMORE DANN

Julie is a former banker, adventurer, public speaker and mum. She has almost 40 years’ business experience, in the banking, finance and fintech sectors. She has held a number of executive positions including most recently as CEO of one of Natwest’s digital businesses, Rapid Cash. She has worked internationally, widely across Europe, including establishing a business in Poland, and working in the US and Australia.

She is a qualified executive coach and experienced Trustee and Board member, currently acting as Treasurer of her local Citizen’s Advice Bureau. She has also recently fulfilled a lifetime goal and gained experience as a TV extra, having worked onset in a Netflix production.

Adventure is her middle name, having skied to both North and South poles and sailed across the North and South Atlantic oceans in a round the world yacht race. She is a popular public speaker and loves to inspire others, women in particular, to challenge themselves to build their own resilience and find their own adventure!

She is mum to two grown up children and has recently had the mixed pleasure of becoming a single parent empty nester. Both offspring are at university building foundations for their own careers and Julie is now often accompanied by her 4 year old Cavapoo, Saffy, who is a popular attendee at networking events and business meetings.
